This is one of the celebrity diets that is always in vogue. Many dieters use a detox plan for a brief spell after after Christmas or holiday excess. Kate Moss and Sadie Frost are fans. Juliette Binoche and Patsy Kensit also follow detoxs from time to time.

After a few weeks on a detox diet a difference is noticeable both in weight loss and healthy outlook plus energy levels increase.

The detox plan involves avoiding refined sugary toxic foods like wheat, potatoes, dairy, citrus fruits, red meat and alcohol.

During pregnancy

Celebrities such as Victoria Beckham are reported to have followed healthy diets during pregnancy. Known for her super svelte figure Victoria ate more during her pregnancy but ate sensible foods. You only actually need to eat about 60 calories more whilst pregnant so it is no excuse to overeat and pile on the pounds. The weight is much easier to shift post-pregnancy if you stick to natural healthy and wholesome foods during your pregnancy.

Kate Moss, the super skinny supermodel also is said to have indulged during her pregnancy but having stuck to mainly healthy foods the baby weight was easy to shift.
