What do the Rosemary Conley classes involve?
The classes have been successfully helping dieters achieve weight loss and improve fitness for over 40 years now. The approach is one of a low fat eating, healthy meals and exercise and this approach is combined and brought forth to members in the class format.
The classes are friendly and welcoming. The workouts are varied and suitable for dieters of all ages and abilities. The exercise classes are not normal exercise classes such as aerobic but are unique workouts combining several elements of popular exercise workouts. Classes may include boxercise, aerobics and yoga plus a great deal of fun!
What can you expect by joining Rosemary Conley classes?
The classes last for an hour and a half. You attend a class of once a week. These are usually held at the start of the week on a Monday. A qualified instructor takes the classes and will take you through the Fat Attack Booster diet and answer any questions.
When you join the Rosemary Conley classes you get:
- An introduction to the instructor and fellow members
- The Rosemary Conley FAB Diet pack which includes diet foods and a motivational DVD
- The classes work by using the following format with some variations:
- Introductions and welcomes take place
- Weigh ins take place and personal calorie allowance is for the week had are set
- The FAB diet plan is explained
- Slimmer of the week takes place and certificates are given out marking weight loss goals with congratulations from other members. There is a focus on celebrating weight loss achievements and dieters are encouraged to reach further goals
- A five minute talk on a feature topic such as motivation, nutrition or exercise tips
- This is followed by the 45 minute optional workout including a warm up and cool down. The exercise session will include some form of aerobics, toning exercises and stretches. If you do not wish to join in the class you can opt out though the exercise class is a fun and popular part of the Rosemary Conley sessions
Rosemary Conley Class Weigh Ins
Contrary to other slimming clubs the weight ins at Rosemary Conley are kept confidential. Each individual has a weigh in with the class instructor and the results are kept confidential. No one else will know your weight. Then instructor helps you set your goals for the week and calculates your daily calorie allowance
Rosemary Conley’s Exercise
The exercise part of the class is a fun and motivational key part of the weight loss system. This is where Rosemary’s classes differ to many other slimming clubs in that your membership fee includes a workout session and not just weight ins and a focus purely on dieting.
Do not worry if you are un-coordinated or not in peak physical condition. Many of the members in each class are at differing levels of ability and the class is tailored to suit all levels of fitness. The moves are clearly forecast in advance so you know where to move and when so there is no need to feel embarrassed or left out.

How much do the Rosemary Conley classes cost?
The membership fee is usually £10.00 and each class costs £5.95.
What do you need to bring to the classes?
Wear something comfortable such as leggings or tracksuit bottoms with a loose fitting top.
It is recommended that you wear trainers.
For floor work you need an exercise mat or towel.
You may also wish to bring a bottle of water.
